I really really love this game, the driving parts are fun, and the 3rd person shooting parts are really fun too, I love the ghetto enviroments that the 3rd person shooting takes place in, like the derelict buildings and such.
I can't understand how the game wasn't that popular.
Unfortunatley though, my copy tends to crash a lot on the black cab mini games, not sure if it's just my copy or whether every copy is like this.
It wasn't that popular because it couldn't have came out a worse time. Just after GTA: San Andreas and around the same time as the likes of Half-Life 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3. (in North America) I haven't really played The Getaway games, I played the demos for them but that's it. I'll pick them up if I ever see them for a good price!
ReplyDeleteYou can usually get them for really cheap, at least in the UK anyway. I paid £1.27 for mine with free postage.
