Printing out new tiles and restringing a Master Magic

So this is what I'm up to right now. I had a Ghost Hand Master Magic, but, only after a week or so of owning it two of the strings snapped on it.

I attempted to re-string it, but one of the corners on one of the tiles ripped off in the process, and one of the tiles had a mark on it due to the manufacturing process which really stood out. So I decided to print out my own custom tiles from this link, http://www.rubiks.com/world/download/12panelmagic.pdf

So, I printed them out, but unfortunatley on the print out, the green on the rings doesn't fade gradually from dark green to light green, it just suddenly goes from dark green to light green, as you can see in the picture below.

I tried looking into the problem, and it seems to be some sort of an incompatibility issue between my printer and the PDF file. Luckily though, when I put the printed tiles between the transparent plastic tiles the imperfection isn't as noticeable. But maybe I may still ask someone someday to print it out for me and hopefully the imperfection shouldn't be there.

So, after printing out the tiles, the next thing was to cut them out. I decided to use a craft knife and a ruler instead of scissors, since that way I can be a lot more accurate.

Yes, I know the craft knife is pink, but that's the only colour they had in the shop, lol.

Now I needed to pair the back tiles to the front tiles. It was hard knowing which went with which, but I developed a technique to be able to do this, I arranged the custom tiles into the first solved state, like this,

I then arranged the Ghost Hand tiles in the second solved state, and the put the other custom tiles for the second solved state on top of them,

I then turned them all over so the GH tiles where facing upwards, and arranged them into the first solved state, and removed the GH tiles, I put the custom tiles that were arranged in the first solved state on top of the custom tiles of the second solved state, and voila, they were all successfully paired.

Then I used some Pritt Stick glue around the edges of the tiles to glue them together.

Then I used some furniture polish to clean and polish the plastic tiles, get them looking all nice and shiney. :)

Then I sandwiched the custom tiles between the plastic tiles.

I think it's looking really nice. :)

All I need to do now is to re-string it which I'll do tomorrow.
